  15. <p>     CITIZENSHIP GRANTED. To KONISHIKI, 30, the controversial Hawaiian-born
  16. heavyweight sumo wrestler; by the Japanese Ministry of Justice;
  17. in Tokyo. The move clears the way for the injury-ridden Konishiki,
  18. whose career has been faltering, to retire and become a sumo
  19. stable master. The first foreigner to win champion status, he
  20. reportedly charged in 1992, then denied saying, that racial
  21. prejudice had kept him out of the grand-champion ranks.
